The occasion celebrated the rich legacy, contribution, and remarkable journey of Hindi journalism, which has played a pivotal role in informing society, shaping public opinion, and strengthening the democratic fabric of India.

The event brought together media professionals, journalists, academicians, students, and members of the communication fraternity to reflect on the evolution and impact of Hindi journalism over the past two centuries.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, renowned journalist, filmmaker, media educator, and President of AAFT School of Journalism, highlighted the immense contribution of Hindi journalism in promoting awareness, social reform, national unity, and democratic values.

“Hindi journalism has been a powerful voice of the people and a strong pillar of Indian democracy. From the publication of the first Hindi newspaper to the modern digital era, Hindi media has continuously evolved while remaining committed to truth, public service, and nation-building.
