The Indo-Algerian Film & Cultural Forum, an initiative of ICMEI, is dedicated to fostering and strengthening cultural, artistic, and cinematic ties between India and Algeria. The forum actively promotes collaboration in the fields of film production, art exhibitions, and cultural exchanges, creating opportunities for both nations to celebrate and share their rich heritage and creative expressions. Through joint film festivals, workshops, and cultural programs, it provides a dynamic platform for filmmakers, artists, and cultural ambassadors from India and Algeria to engage, collaborate, and inspire one another.

The forum plays a significant role in building lasting friendships and enhancing mutual understanding between the two countries, contributing to a deeper appreciation of each other’s traditions and contemporary artistic achievements.

ICMEI and AAFT extended their heartiest welcome to H.E. Dr. Ali Achoui, Ambassador of Algeria to India, on his gracious visit to AAFT. His Excellency’s presence added great value to the ongoing efforts of nurturing cultural diplomacy and creative partnerships. The occasion marked a meaningful step toward further enriching the Indo-Algerian relationship through cinema, education, and the arts.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah  with nine world records in his kitty, stands distinct as the founder of Noida Film City, and Marwah Studios. He is the founder President of AAFT, which is one of the ten best film schools in the world. As the producer of the largest number of short films in the world, he has been associated with innumerable feature films, television programs, and amateur training films.

Felicitated with over 1000 national and international awards for his contribution to the world of Creative Arts, he has trained over 20, 000 media students from 145 countries. As Global Cultural Minister, he heads over 100 national, and international media and social organizations besides being president of the International Chamber of Media & Entertainment industry. At present, he is the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts.

He has been nominated as National Chairman for Media & Entertainment Committee in Ministry of Consumer Affairs. He is on the board of  Ministry of Education & Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India. He is also the member of the managing committee of Media & Entertainment Skills Council of NSDC, Ministry of Skill Development, Govt. of India. Dr. Marwah is also nominated as cultural representative by 67 governments of different countries from Asia, Africa, America & Europe

Akshay Marwah

Akshay Marwah is an Arts Educationist whose dedicated leadership and exemplary vision have been an integral factor for the group’s success. He has been persistently implementing advanced managerial strategies to ensure nurturing of talents in the most efficient manner. He is of the view that there must be a formal and progressive structure of professional education to back the growing needs of the media and entertainment industry. Thus, his key focus is on ensuring that each student has access to absolute world-class academic support. He believes that imparting personalized attention to each student enrolled at AAFT University and transforming them into skilled & creative professionals will result in their employability. He is also the co- founder of AAFT Online and the founder of Asian Education Group.
