Dr. Sandeep Marwah Inaugurated 5th Edition of “Ear to Hear” Women’s Empowerment Program at IIC New Delhi: The 5th edition of the Women’s Empowerment Program, “Ear to Hear,” was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at the India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi by renowned media personality and social leader Dr. Sandeep Marwah. The inspiring event was organized by Richa Mehta and featured acclaimed actress Tannaz Irani, bringing together a distinguished gathering of women achievers, professionals, social activists, entrepreneurs, and award recipients from diverse fields.
Addressing an auditorium filled with women participants and awardees, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of several international cultural organizations, emphasized the importance of creating platforms that recognize, encourage, and empower women to become leaders in every sphere of life. “Women’s empowerment is not merely a social responsibility but a prerequisite for sustainable development and a progressive society. During his address, Dr. Marwah highlighted the initiatives undertaken by the International Women’s Film Forum, an initiative of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), which has been actively promoting the participation and leadership of women in cinema, media, arts, and creative industries across the globe.
He also spoke about the prestigious Dr. Sarojini Naidu International Award for Working Women, instituted to honour exceptional women who have made remarkable contributions to society through their professional excellence, leadership, and commitment to nation-building.
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to social development, education, media, and women’s empowerment, Dr. Sandeep Marwah was conferred with the honour of becoming the Patron of the organization, a gesture warmly applauded by the audience.
