We jiust cannot leave this opportunity to join hands with famous Tamale College of Education in Ghana to promote education,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group at World Education Leaders Forum at Busan South Korea during World Cultural Camp.
“What a pleasure to meet international educationist Dr. Sandeep Marwah from Republic of India. We have heard the name of AAFT and today is the D- Day when we are joining hands with AAFT for the promotion of education and relations with India,” said Suleman Iddrisu of Tamale College of Education, ACCRA, Ghana while signing the MOU between the two institutions.
The two governments of India and Ghana have already signed treaty to support each other in the field of art and culture including education. This is in continuation to the same arrangements.
Tamale CoE was opened in 1958 with the motto ‘Ora et Labora’ by the first president of the Republic of Ghana. Sixty female pioneer students were enrolled in the college that year, and it remained a female institution until 1977. Tamale Training College has the vision to become a leading institution for the professional training of well disciplined, dedicated and academically qualified teachers for Ghana.
