105th Annual General Meeting of ASSOCHAM Held at Hotel Taj Mansingh, New Delhi. New Delhi: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) successfully held its 105th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Hotel Taj Mansingh, New Delhi, bringing together eminent leaders from industry, government, and business to discuss India’s economic outlook and growth strategies.
The prestigious event was graced by Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Shri Goyal lauded ASSOCHAM for its continued role in nation-building and policy advocacy, stating that India’s growth story is powered by innovation, entrepreneurship, and the vision of a self-reliant economy.
Mr. Sanjay Nayyar, President of ASSOCHAM, in his welcome address, spoke about India’s strong economic fundamentals and the Chamber’s commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable growth. Mr. Nirmal Kumar Minda, Senior Vice President, emphasized the importance of industrial transformation and green growth in shaping the next phase of India’s development.
Mr. Amitabh Chaudhary, Vice President, highlighted the chamber’s focus on technology-driven innovation and MSME empowerment as key drivers of future economic resilience. Mr. Manish Singhal, Secretary General, outlined ASSOCHAM’s ongoing initiatives and collaborative efforts with government bodies to strengthen India’s position in global trade.
Mr. Ajay Singh, Past President, appreciated the chamber’s legacy of 105 years and its enduring contribution to policy dialogue, economic reform, and business excellence. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and a senior member of ASSOCHAM, while speaking to the press, commended the chamber’s consistent efforts in connecting industry leaders and policymakers.
