AAFT School of Hospitality Showcases Comoros Cuisine at the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025

NoidaThe AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism proudly presented an exquisite showcase of Comoros cuisine during the 13th Global Festival of Journalism & AVGC Noida 2025 at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. The event was inaugurated by former Lt. Governor of Pondicherry, Dr. Kiran Bedi, alongside Comdr. K.L. Ganju, Consul General of Comoros in India.

The festival highlighted the rich culinary heritage of Comoros, offering a unique opportunity for cultural exchange through gastronomy. The event attracted chefs, students, and international dignitaries who came together to celebrate the fusion of flavors from the African archipelago.

Dr. Kiran Bedi, in her address, praised the initiative: “Food is not just nourishment; it is a bridge between cultures. Showcasing the cuisine of Comoros at such a prestigious festival is a brilliant way to bring people closer and foster global understanding.”

Comdr. K.L. Ganju, expressing his appreciation, stated: “Comoros has a vibrant culinary tradition deeply rooted in African, Arab, and French influences. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Journalism Centre, emphasized the significance of culinary diplomacy: “Food has the power to tell stories, create connections, and build relationships. This event is another step towards strengthening Indo-Comoros ties through the universal language of taste and tradition.”
