Comic Characters Come to Life at First-Ever Fashion Show During Xtreme Champions League at Marwah Studios

Noida – May 2025 – In a spectacular blend of creativity, cosplay, and digital artistry. Marwah Studios, in association with the AAFT School of Animation and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI). Life at First-Ever Fashion Show. Xtreme Champions League at Marwah Studios hosted the first-ever Fashion Show of Comic Characters as a highlight event of the ongoing Xtreme Champions League at Marwah Studios. Hence this groundbreaking initiative marked a new milestone in India’s emerging animation and gaming culture. Where fictional characters stepped out of screens and into the spotlight.

Conceptualized and executed by the talented students of AAFT School of Animation. Hence the show featured original comic characters designed, styled, and brought to life through innovative costume design and character modeling. The ramp was transformed into a fantasy world, drawing thunderous applause from the audience and dignitaries present.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT University of Media and Arts, inaugurated the show and lauded the efforts of the young creators. Hence “Comic characters are beloved around the world and serve as cultural icons. Such as presenting them on the fashion runway is not just bold—it’s a unique form of art. I congratulate all the students on this powerful and imaginative display. We are now planning to copyright our original characters and build their popularity globally.”

The fashion show received high praise from a distinguished international delegation, including: Hiroki Kawasaki. Senior Director of Business Development at JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), who noted: “This event showcases India’s emerging leadership in character design and storytelling. The talent and passion here are world-class.”

Alfredo Caldera, Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Venezuela, stated. Such as “It’s exciting to see students giving life to characters that reflect diverse imagination and cultural narratives. This is truly world-class creative innovation.”

Avital Barak, Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Israel, remarked: “This kind of event goes beyond entertainment—it’s about identity, creativity, and visual storytelling. A wonderful initiative that brings cultures together through fantasy.”

Also present at the event were Ayush Founder of Mellow Fox Studios. Vrinda Sood Founder and CEO Citrus Ink, Maria Jose Gomez Counsellor Embassy of Venezuela. Hence Jenica Kalra of JETRO,  Dr. Manoj Agarwal Campus Director AAFT, and Ashish Garg Dean AAFT School of Animation. Who expressed their pride in the students’ efforts and reaffirmed AAFT’s mission to nurture talent through hands-on, globally relevant experiences.

The Fashion Show of Comic Characters was a defining moment in the Xtreme Champions League. Hence not only entertaining the audience but also paving the way for India’s presence in global pop culture and creative IP development. With original characters now poised for official copyright and future promotion, AAFT continues to set new benchmarks in the world of animation, gaming, and design.
