Dr. Sandeep Marwah Honoured at AI Impact Summit for Pioneering Contribution to Artificial Intelligence in Creative Arts. New Delhi, India – In a moment of great pride for the Indian creative and academic community, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT , was honoured at the prestigious AI Impact Summit for his pioneering contribution to Artificial Intelligence studies in films, television, media, and creative arts.
The recognition was conferred during a grand seminar organized as part of the summit by the Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC). The award acknowledged Dr. Marwah’s visionary leadership in integrating Artificial Intelligence into creative education and production.
Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Marwah, AAFT became one of the first institutions to introduce structured education in Artificial Intelligence within the domains of films, television, media, and other creative arts. Demonstrating innovation in action, AAFT also launched the International Festival of Mobile Cinema and Artificial Intelligence Films, creating a global platform for AI-driven cinematic expression.
In its very first phase, more than seventeen short films powered by Artificial Intelligence were successfully conceptualized and produced by students and professionals, setting a benchmark in creative technology integration. A series of workshops and academic initiatives were also introduced to nurture young talent and encourage experimentation with emerging technologies.
Speaking at the occasion, Aditya Tikoo, Founder Convenor of the GCTC seminar, praised Dr. Marwah’s forward-thinking approach and his commitment to preparing the next generation for a technology-driven creative future.
