Busan- With Second Lady of Kenya Rachel Ruto wife of H.E. William Ruto ist Deputy President of Kenya with Founder of International Youth Fellowship Pastor Ock Soo Park opened theWorld Education Leaders Forum at Hotel Centum at Busan, South Korea.
More than 100 educationists from all over the World attended the forum and contributed to discussion as to what is necessary and what is essential in today’s age. “Life itself is your teacher, and you are in a state of constant learning. A dull mind gets bored easily. A curious mind expands forever,” initiated the discussion by Rachel Ruto the second Lady of Kenya wife of deputy President of Kenya present there.
“A well-educated mind will always have more questions than answers. We all must see that our Children must be taught how to think which is more important than what to think,” Paster Ock Soo Park said.
“Teaching kids to count is fine, but teaching them what counts is best. Kids don’t remember what you try to teach them. They remember what you are The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled. The more you make it easy for your kids, the more your remove the struggle necessary for learning,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University.
The meeting lasted for two hours followed by an entertainment program.
