London: “Every time we see Dr Sandeep Marwah involved with one or other segment of art and culture, developing and promoting that department of art and culture for India or any other country who all have trusted him as their cultural ambassador. His involvement is beyond explanation and calculation,” said Dr Ragasudha Vinjamuri renowned Indian classical dancer and founder & chairperson of popular Sanskruti Centre for Culture Excellence while presenting the Cultural Icon Award to Dr Marwah on his visit to United Kingdom.
Sandeep Marwah is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, Asian Education Group with nine World Records to his credit. He is the National Chairman of Media & Entertainment BIS Ministry of Consumer Affairs Government of India and now on the board of AICTE, Ministry of Education, Government of India. He has been associated with more than seven thousand cultural events around the World.
The award was presented in a small event organized by the members of Sanskruti Centre for Cultural Excellence at Grosvenor Hotel Suites, Park Lane, London where members of the executive committee personally handed over the award to Dr Marwah including Secretary Sushil Rapatwar, member Manju Sunil. ICMEI representative Kathleen Kautai was also present there.
Sanskruti Centre for Cultural Excellence has the distinction of highlighting artistic and linguistic diversity of India including endangered languages such as Bishnupriya Manipuri, Saurashtra, Meitei among others. The Centre researched and highlighted rare tribal dances of India from Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Maharashtra, Karnataka etc.
