Sandeep Marwah has been in Scouts and NCC during his school and college days. Later he was opted as a special police officer by Delhi Police. He was selected by Lt. Governor of Delhi as the Battalion Commander in Delhi Home Guards- and rose to the level of District Commandant. During his nine-year voluntary services in home guards, he was nominated for the President Award, attended nine 26th January parades and scored many other achievements. Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as the Chief Scout for India by Scout and Guide Foundation
