World Food Day Celebrated at AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism. Noida: The AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism celebrated World Food Day with great enthusiasm at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of food security, nutrition, and sustainable food practices.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, in his address, said, “Food is not only a necessity but also an art and a science. It connects cultures, strengthens communities, and reflects the progress of a nation. On this World Food Day, let us pledge to respect food, minimize waste, and promote healthy and sustainable eating habits.”
He also emphasized the significant role hospitality professionals play in shaping global food trends and promoting culinary excellence. The celebration included food presentations, live demonstrations, and discussions on sustainable cooking practices. Students showcased their culinary skills through innovative dishes inspired by the theme of “Water is Life, Water is Food – Leave No One Behind.” The event was supported by AAFT International Skill Development Council.
The event concluded with an interactive session encouraging students to be ambassadors of responsible food culture.
