Family Celebrated Ninety Seventh Birth Anniversary of Pandit Chatur Lal

New Delhi: Renowned media personality and cultural icon, Sandeep Marwah President of AAFT School of Performing Arts, recently spoke on the topic of Indian classical music and the tabla, a traditional Indian percussion instrument. In his address, Marwah emphasized the significance of classical music in India’s cultural heritage and its role in fostering a sense of community and connection among its listeners at the Ninety Seventh Birth Anniversary Celebration of renowned tabla Player  Pandt Chatur Lal organised by the family at his museum.

Sandeep Marwah also spoke about the tabla, highlighting its unique rhythmic patterns and the intricate techniques required to master the instrument. He praised the contributions of renowned tabla player Pandit Chatur Lal  throughout history and stressed the importance of preserving and promoting this rich musical tradition for future generations.

Pranshu Chatur Lal, the grandson of Pandit Chatur Lal also presented marvellous musical pieces for the audience and impressed    by his charm of playing Tabla in different styles.

Overall, Mr. Marwah’s insights shed light on the beauty and complexity of Indian classical music and its enduring importance in the country’s cultural landscape.
