World Scouts Day Celebrations Started at New Delhi

New Delhi: The Scout/Guide Organization invited hundreds of Scouts and guides from all over India to be the part of celebration of World Scout Day inaugurated by Chief Scout of India Dr. Sandeep Marwah at Constitutional Club at New Delhi.

“22 February has always been a time to remember and celebrate the birthday of Baden-Powell, our Founder, the force behind Scouting and all that it stands for today. His vision has influenced countless generations of young people globally, providing opportunities for them to experience self-discovery through an array of activities and impact-driven initiatives,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chief Scout For India addressing young Scouts and guides from different states of India.

“This day is also deeply personal to each of us, as we fondly recollect Scouting’s heritage, and memories of special moments in Scouting,” added Dr. Raj K.P. Sinha National Commissioner of Scouts/Guides Organization.

“Our first Promise, new friendships, and many activities filled with adventure and fun! As we kick off 2020, there is much to celebrate and look forward to,” expressed Dr. Vipin Gaur Commissioner North India.

“We want all our students of schools and colleges to be the part of scouts and guides movement all over India and take part wholeheartedly,” said Rezu Shah Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir. The powerful talks were followed by session of question answer and presentation of memento to deserving officers.
